Refund & Cancellation Policy
This page explains, in plain language, how fishbAIt subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when fees are refundable. It restates Sections 4 and 5 of the Terms of Service; where the two differ, the Terms control.
What you are buying
fishbAIt is a subscription service delivered online. There is nothing to ship and nothing to return. Your purchase has two parts:
- A one-time Agent Creation Fee, which pays for building, calibrating, and activating your company’s agent; and
- A monthly subscription, which covers the ongoing service, plus any state or local coverage add-ons you select.
The fees are the ones shown to you at checkout. All fees are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars (USD) and exclude applicable sales tax, which is calculated and added at checkout and on each invoice where we are required to collect it.
How billing works
- Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe’s secure payment pages. fishbAIt never sees or stores your card number.
- Your subscription renews automatically each month and your payment method is charged the then-current monthly fee on each renewal date until you cancel.
- Your billing page always shows your next charge and its date, and lets you update your payment method.
- If we change your monthly price, the change takes effect at your next renewal after at least thirty (30) days’ notice by email to your account Owner.
- If a charge fails, we notify you and retry. Your access continues during a ten (10) day grace period; if payment is not made by the end of it, access may be limited until it is.
How to cancel
You may cancel at any time, for any reason:
- from your billing page inside the fishbAIt application, or
- by emailing support@fishbaitai.com from the address of your account Owner.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly period you have already paid for. You are shown the date your access ends, you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again after that date. There is no cancellation fee and no long-term contract.
What is refundable
- Monthly subscription fees. Cancelling does not refund the current month. You are never charged for a period after your access ends.
- The Agent Creation Fee. Once your agent has been activated, the work the fee pays for has been performed and the fee is earned and non-refundable. If you cancel before your agent is activated, contact us; we will consider a refund of the unearned portion in good faith.
- Coverage add-ons. Add-ons are billed with your monthly subscription and follow the same rule: no refund of the current month, no charge after cancellation.
- Charges made in error. If you believe you were charged incorrectly — a duplicate charge, a charge after cancellation, a wrong amount — email us. We answer billing questions within one business day and correct genuine errors promptly.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Depending on your bank, a refund can take five to ten business days to appear.
If we end the service
If fishbAIt discontinues the Service, we will give you at least thirty (30) days’ notice and will not charge you for any period after your access ends. If we suspend or terminate your access because of a material breach of the Terms, fees already paid are not refunded.
